A physical Linux host with desktop, browser and camera tools, backed by a command harness, durable jobs and recovery tooling.
Project illustrationThe challenge
A useful agent needs an environment it can operate, observe and recover. On a small physical computer, desktop access, cameras, background work and service health all need to work together.
The approach
Provision a Raspberry Pi with a Linux desktop and an organised workspace.
Expose desktop, camera and job operations through a consistent command interface.
Keep submitted jobs alive across connection loss and mark interrupted work explicitly after reboot.
Add service checks, bounded log retention and configuration recovery.
What the work demonstrates
- An implemented host harness connects command execution, desktop control and camera access.
- A live model response and host-status tool round trip have been verified in the project.
- The architecture makes the host's broad authority explicit; it is an owner-controlled environment.
