Hopper
A document review prototype that brings PDF extraction, bounded vision inspection and human decisions into one traceable workflow.
The challenge
Reviewing a document pack involves more than recognising what appears in a photograph. Evidence must remain connected to its source, missing material must stay visible, and a reviewer needs to understand how a finding was reached.
The approach
Associate extracted text and images with their source pages and checklist requirements.
Keep deterministic checks separate from the local model's visual observations.
Give each disposable inspection a restricted tool set and validate its structured findings.
Preserve versioned runs, interrupted-job recovery and a human acceptance or rework decision.
What the work demonstrates
- Implemented document ingestion, findings, review interfaces and report generation.
- Evidence remains traceable through each review run.
- Failed or uncertain inference is recorded for review rather than converted into a pass.
- Local prototype; production accuracy qualification remains a separate step.
